The S4x26 Call For Presentations (CFP) opens this week and runs through August 31st. Information is available at s4xevents.com/cfp. Early submission improves your chances of getting on the S4 stage as we review submissions as they come, rather than waiting until the end.

Even if you don’t want to be on the S4 stage, this is a good chance to reflect on what you’re working on, or want to work on, that is new and important to Create The Future of OT and ICS Security. Equally important is, what are you working on that you are most passionate about?

It’s too easy to get bogged down with the day-to-day, week-to-week drudgery. To not set time aside to work on what’s going to make a big difference and what excites you. This week’s assignment gives you a chance to reflect on this.

Write up a S4 session proposal, even if you have no intention of submitting it or presenting it. In three to five paragraphs write up your Big Idea for the Main Stage. Or write up your technical research you are doing or want to do for a Stage 2 Technical Deep Dive session. Don’t use those paragraphs for background material, dive right into the meat of the problem and your proposed solution. Have some fun picking a title. And then if you want to, submit it.
