- For advisory boards – is it truly an advisory role? (as opposed to lending one’s name for marketing reasons)
ICS & IIoT SECURITY CONSULTING SERVICES
From 2000 – 2016 Dale led a team of between 5 and 15 consultants performing a wide variety of ICS security consulting services in almost every sector that uses ICS. This team of alumni continue to do great work and are leaders in the ICS security consulting sector across many companies.
Today, Dale spends about two-thirds of his time on S4 events and his writing and speaking, and he no longer has a team of consultants. He no longer leads teams on assessments that connect tools to networks to scan and evaluate configurations.
Dale still does consulting projects in the remaining one-third of his time. Most of these are for long time clients or an asset owner trying something on the leading edge. He also will work with VC’s considering investments or looking to better understand the OT and ICS security markets. These projects are more of advisory / strategic nature and tend to run from 2-weeks to 3-months in duration.
