The last day of S4 we open up Stage 2 for one hour of 5-minute Unsolicited Response talks. Any attendee can come on stage and present for 5 minutes (but not a second more than 5 minutes). Some are research results or questions; others are big ideas, problems that need to be solved, calls for help, … anything goes. The key is it is something that you feel is important and you are passionate about.
This week’s exercise is to create a 5-minute Unsolicited Response talk, whether you are coming to S4x26 or not. What are you passionate about in OT security that you want to share with the world, solicit help, cheerlead for, or bemoan? It should be something you believe is important to Create The Future of OT and ICS security.
You can create a slide deck, but it’s not necessary.
Why do this task?
It will help you clarify where you should be putting your most valuable resource, your time. It will help you with your career, your personal brand.
And hopefully it will encourage you to share your passion project with others in your company, your peer or industry group, and the OT security community.
